Editorial policy
Last updated:
SavedIdea publishes practical, reader-first content. This page explains how articles are created, reviewed and kept up to date.
Our principles
- Helpful first. Every article should solve a real problem or answer a real question.
- Original. We do not copy, spin or republish other sites' work.
- Honest. We do not invent statistics, quotes or personal experiences, and we say when we are unsure.
- Independent. Advertising and affiliate relationships never decide what we write or recommend.
How articles are made
Articles are researched, written and edited by our team and by guest contributors. We may use AI tools to help with outlines or first drafts. Every draft is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a person before publication, and AI is never a substitute for editorial judgment.
Guest contributions
Guest articles go through the same review. We reject content that is promotional, plagiarised or low quality. Links in guest posts are marked nofollow, and we do not accept payment for publishing a guest post. See Write for us.
Health, money and legal topics
We keep claims cautious and general, and we remind readers that our content is not professional advice. See our disclaimer.
Advertising, sponsors and affiliate links
Ads are separated from editorial content. Any sponsored content or affiliate relationship is disclosed. Read the advertising and affiliate disclosure.
Updates and corrections
We revisit articles regularly and update them when advice, prices or facts change. If you spot a mistake, tell us through the contact page; our process is described in fact-checking and corrections.
