Fact-checking and corrections
Last updated:
Accuracy matters to us. Here is how we check our work and what to do if you notice a mistake.
How we check
- Facts, figures and instructions are checked against reliable, primary or well-established sources.
- We avoid presenting estimates as certainties, and we mark advice that depends on personal circumstances.
- Health, safety and money topics receive extra scrutiny, and we recommend consulting a qualified professional.
- Images are original, licensed or credited to their source.
