A 10-Minute Daily Mobility Routine to Relieve Stiff Joints and Back Pain
Sitting all day takes a heavy toll on your hips, spine, and neck. Unfreeze your body with this simple, equipment-free 10-minute daily mobility flow.

Why Mobility Is Different from Static Stretching
Traditional static stretching involves holding an elongated muscle position without movement. Mobility training, in contrast, actively takes your joints through their full rotational ranges of motion (ROM) under motor control, lubricating cartilage with fresh synovial fluid.
The 10-Minute Sequence (60 Seconds per Exercise)
1. Cat-Cow with Segmental Spinal Articulation
Begin on hands and knees. Instead of bowing all at once, focus on moving one vertebra at a time—starting at the tailbone and rolling slowly up to the cervical neck.
2. The World's Greatest Stretch (Thoracic Rotation + Hip Opener)
Step forward into a deep runner's lunge. Place both hands inside the front foot, drop the inside elbow toward the floor, and then rotate your arm open toward the ceiling, looking at your thumb.
3. 90/90 Hip Swivels
Sit on the floor with both knees bent at 90-degree angles—one leg in front with external rotation, one leg to the side with internal rotation. Gently rotate both legs side to side without using your hands for support.
4. Quadruped T-Spine Thread the Needle
Resting on all fours, reach one hand through the window under your torso, touching the back of your shoulder to the floor to decompress tight upper back muscles.
5. Deep Squat Pry with Heel Elevation
Lower into the deepest comfortable squat you can maintain. Place your elbows against the insides of your knees and gently sway side to side to open ankles and adductors.
